this morning
Clem: "What's my coffee, bitch?"
Me: "Ah, what was that?"
Clem: "What's my coffee, bitch?"
Me (struggling not to laugh, Andy almost crying across the room): "What do you mean by that?"
Clem: "Is it a face, or a bird, what is it?"
Phew... as I thought, he was mucking around with the word 'picture' i.e. what did his coffee froth look like.
And um, he likes a decaf. Bitch.

I'm dying!
ReplyDeleteAndy and I had to quietly go outside and cling to each other as we pretty much cried laughing. But we couldn't let him see any reaction to it or he'd twig that it was a bad word and might bring it out on other occasions!
DeleteI do love it when you post these! I shall smile all morning. Thank you Jane.
ReplyDeleteLaughing here too!
ReplyDeleteThats a great one! When Ross was two he kept saying "buddy hell!" - it took a good week to figure out he was saying "beautiful" and not the other.
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it!
Hahahahaha. Awesome. Joe has taken to saying "Oh. My. Gawwwwwd." Which we don't say! He must have learned it at school. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile - a lot! Bethx (thelinencat)
ReplyDeleteHilarious! My son says "oh crab" a lot. Apparently it's not a swear word because there is already a swear word that starts with the letter 'c'...
